Bay Area college students are making a positive difference in underserved neighborhoods.

Our spring program is full.  We are now accepting applications for the Summer 2008 season (June-August) with sites in the East Bay and South Bay.  While this is a volunteer program, we have a limited number of positions available.  Anyone interested in this program must go through a competitive application and screening process.   Submit your online application today.

At Team-Up for Youth, we're promoting the healthy development of kids from low-income communities by supporting and expanding quality sports and physical activity programs in their neighborhoods. For most of these programs, there simply aren't enough trained and committed volunteer youth coaches.

To address this need, Team-Up created the Coaching Corps. In partnership with Bay Area colleges and volunteer centers, we are recruiting and training community members to serve as volunteer coaches with after-school sports programs that serve youth living in low-income neighborhoods.

Following two years of success and increasing demand for volunteer youth coaches, we are expanding the program to significantly increase the number of underserved kids who will be mentored by trained and caring coaches.
